A new consensus for development

The European Consensus on Development adopted by the EU in 2005. It sets out common principles, objectives and commitments for EU aid policy. Last year, the Union launched discussions on how to update the agreement in the light of Agenda 2030. It will be updated later this spring. James Mackie from the think tank European Center for Development Policy Mangangement talks about this work. Anders Rönquist from Sida and Peter Sörbom from CONCORD moderate.
