The social media creators
The social media creators producing posts to FUF's digital channels, in particular Instagram. In this way, they are involved and spread easily accessible knowledge about global issues and Sweden's role in the world.
As a member of the social media group, you get to participate in producing content for FUF's digital channels, write texts, conduct interviews and design posts and videos. The group receives continuous training and supervision – both in topics related to global development and in journalistic writing and communication. The members are also part of an editorial team that encourages, supports and gets to know each other!
You can join the group regardless of where in Sweden you live. The commitment is semester-long and usually starts in January and September. The assignment includes participating in editorial meetings and proofreading other group members' posts.
You don't need any prior knowledge to become a social media creator, we train you during the assignment!
The assignment runs on a semester basis and during the semester you are expected to:
- produce at least three posts/videos, a quiz and provide feedback on your
corrrkompis art - use FUF's guides
- participate in all start-up and editorial meetings
- provide constructive feedback when proofreading your editorial colleagues' texts
- follow deadlines and actively communicate with the editor and the rest
by the editorial team
You who meet these expectations will qualify for a certificate of
voluntary commitment at the end of the semester.
