Amalkher Djibrine Souleymane is a Chadian human rights activist and the founder of Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) in Chad. Since its independence from France in 1960, Chad’s history has been marked by instability and violence, in resent years inflamed by Boko Haram.
