I Jordanien pågår idag en feministisk kamp för ökad jämställdhet. Precis som i alla länder, så bemöts denna kamp med mer eller mindre motstånd från sin omgivning. Vissa ser feminism som ett västerländskt fenomen medan andra menar att jämställdhet handlar om mänskliga rättigheter.
