Since the introduction of AI chat tools, the power of artificial intelligence has become widely recognised. To harness the potential of this technological revolution, we see the need to integrate AI into our daily global development work, while simultaneously addressing ethical and moral concerns.
One key area of AI integration is the health sector at large. Several innovative tools have been developed recently, having the potential to serve the most vulnerable in Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond. One of these was developed by Gynius, a dedicated partner of LM International (Läkarmissionen) since last year.
While AI offers significant benefits, it also presents risks that must be carefully managed. These include concerns about ethical considerations and the potential exposure for the rights-holder. Addressing these challenges is crucial to ensure that AI is implemented responsibly and effectively for sustainable development across sectors.
Join us to explore how AI can revolutionise Swedish Development Cooperation, improve global sustainable outcomes, and navigate the associated risks.
