Information meeting with FUF Uppsala

Register here »

Do you want to engage in the work for a fair and sustainable world? Are you interested in spreading knowledge and learning more about global development – such as global perspective of current conflicts, democracy and human rights? Would you also like to broaden your network with other people interested in these subjects? Then you are the one we are looking for!

What we do in FUF Uppsala

FUF: s local group in Uppsala arranges lectures, panel discussions, movie-nights and much more. Some of the previous activities include lectures about the demonstrations in Iran, climate changes in Latin America and how it is to do an internship in the field of global development. We have also arranged a movie night about the criminalisation of women’s bodies and arranged a clothing swap to acknowledge the way consumption impacts the climate.

Why should you join?

Besides having the opportunity to discuss and learn more about interesting subjects, you will broaden your network and increase your ability to work in a group and within an association. In addition, FUF offers different skills training and the possibility to apply for an internship through Praktikantprogrammet. Most importantly, you will gain many friends and have a fantastic time!

Who we are

We are mostly students but welcome everyone in Uppsala to join our group! What we all have in common is that we want to increase both our own and others’ knowledge about global challenges and injustices.

How to get engaged

Come on our information meeting the 5th of September at 19.00-20.00 to hear more about what we do and how you can get engaged.
