Reach for Change is an international non-profit organization with the mission to unleash the power of innovation and entrepreneurship to create a better world for children. We find and support local early stage social entrepreneurs who work towards one or more of the sustainable development goals set up by the UN. The entrepreneurs are supported to scale their innovations through capacity building, networks and funding all in partnership with multiple sectors. Being Co-created by successful entrepreneurs in the non-profit and the business sector in 2010, we have now grown to 18 countries across three continents.
Vad innebär praktiken?
As part of the Central Program team, the intern will be working on projects that have a direct impact on the work of over 190 Social Entrepreneurs in 18 countries around the world. The intern will join a highly talented global team, and will be given significant responsibility including your own project to lead. Working in this team is demanding but the intern will learn a lot quickly, and will develop your workplace skills significantly.
We believe you have a strong passion when it comes to improving the world for children and social entrepreneurship. You have excellent writing, communication and project management skills, are flexible in your work and enjoy being creative. As a person you have an entrepreneurial, problem solving go-getter mindset. You don’t hesitate to take initiative, are proactive, as well as enjoy having many different projects to juggle at the same time.
Student or graduate of Social Entrepreneurship; Political Science; International Relations; Development Studies; Human Rights; Global Studies or similar ( Bachelor’s or Master’s level)
Proficient in English – the language we use for most of our communication. Knowledge of russian language is a plus but not a must.
Looking for an internship as a part of your education plan. This is an unpaid position, however it’s very important to us that you are receiving funds from a third party (CSN or other source of income).
