During da past week has the other one the week of the UN climate summit COP28 got off the ground. Done has been mirrored on Swedish opinionssidor, where, among other things, trading in emissions rights and demands for increasing use of biofuel in the aviation industry have been debated. Also behovet of a transfer of responsibility from the individual and the individual consumer to system level has is lifted.

In September met representatives in de African countries of climate conferenceen Africa Climate Summit (ACS) in Kenya in order to discuss common solutions of climate change. The conference resulted in the Nairobi Declaration - which, among other things, proposes a global carbon tax to large emitters must contribute with sea resources to low-income countries. The declaration will form the basis of the countries' joint strategy at the climate conference COP28, which will be held in November.

Indonesia's capital Jakarta has long been threatened by climate change. Now the city, located on the island of Java in northeastern Indonesia, will be relocated and given a new name on the island of Borneo.

Since 2012, there has been a power struggle between the central government, separatists and Islamists in Mali. As early as 2013, France launched an operation in Mali to counter armed separatist groups. At least half of the 5 European soldiers who have been in Mali since 000 will now be relocated to surrounding countries.

The EU's conflict with Turkey over who will receive the many migrants continues. Several debaters believe that the EU must put pressure on Turkish President Erdogan to reach a new migration agreement. In addition, this week WWF has been criticized for its support for cotton certifications.
