Event activities we have put it in the safe hands of the non-profit. Under the leadership of Axel and with the support of board members, Maja, Elias, Nina, Thea and Linnea will arrange the autumn events and seminars. The first event of the autumn was a Live Instagram about the conflicting goals between indigenous peoples' rights and the green transition. Read more about it below.
The book club has gained a new member and is currently reading the anthology “The World is Actually Full of Hope: Thirty-Six Voices on the Resistance to Global Conservative Nationalism.” We are keeping our fingers crossed for a review or analysis in the near future!
Through FUF's Internship Program 32 interns have started their autumn semester at 13 workplaces. They visited the Expert Group for Aid Analysis today to learn more about their work evaluating and analyzing Sweden's international aid. Ronja is also currently matching candidates and internships for the spring semester.
Mentorship program has also kicked off. A number of mentors have been paired with FUF's non-profit and will be seen tonight for the launch. Are you a professional in global issues and would you like to share your experiences with someone on their way to a career? Contact us or read more here.
FUF has also started a WhatsApp community "What the FUF?!" where you can get updates about when new texts and events will be released in our channels. In the associated groups you can also give each other tips and discuss current themes on FUF-related issues. Read more here.
