The world in the Swedish election
Sweden will hold elections in 2026. Democracy is based on voters having enough information to make a well-balanced choice between available parties and candidates. But for many of us, aid and foreign policy are difficult to navigate.
In 2026, FUF will help you see how the parties view Sweden's role in the world. So that you can choose the party that will best work for a more just and sustainable world over the next four years. These pages are updated continuously. Do you think we have missed something? Let us know at opinion@fuf.se and we will do our best to cover it!
On these pages you will find:
- FUF's hearings of the political parties and other video calls about the election and Sweden's role in the world
- Our Foreign Affairs Monitor's analyses of the party programs
- Other texts about Sweden's foreign and development aid policy
- We also recommend more sources for those of you who want to read more about the role of the world in Swedish politics.
