Last day: Expression of interest to FUF's communication groups

To signup "

Are you passionate about a fair and sustainable world? Do you want to make contacts in global development, develop your communication skills and gain important experience to put on your CV? Then you are welcome to get involved in the Association for Development Issues (FUF) during the fall semester 2023!

Until the September 3 at 23.59 you can register your interest in joining the following groups:

The editorial staff

The SoMe group

FUF-correspondents

These groups will form a larger editorial group this autumn. All FUF members are welcome to register their interest in the groups, but there are a limited number of places. The selection is based on interest and time to get involved, and that we strive for diversity based on, among other things, gender and a mix of new and experienced FUF members. We aim for as many people as possible to have their first choice regarding which group they want to get involved with.

Due to withdrawn funding, we no longer have an event group at FUF. If you are interested in planning and implementing events, you are welcome to get involved in one of ours instead local groups. If you want to join the book club or search for The Internship Program you can go to the respective pages for more information and contact details.

Good to know before you register your interest

- You must be a member of FUF to get involved in the association. As a volunteer, you get training, guidance and the opportunity to network with people in the industry - so it's worth it, we promise!

- A non-profit assignment in the editorial office, the SoMe group and the FUF correspondents extends over one semester. During the semester, you will be assigned a schedule with deadlines for your texts and/or social media posts as well as for proofreading other members' material. It also includes mandatory participation in 1-2 meetings and training courses per month. Think before you sign up if you will have time for this in the fall!

- A mandatory kick-off is held at the FUF's office at Ehrensvärdsgatan 4 in Stockholm (as well as digitally for those who are not in Stockholm) on Saturday, September 9 at approximately 10.00-16.00. Then we will talk more about FUF, what the non-profit groups do and of course - get to know each other!

- At the end of the semester, those who have completed their voluntary commitment have the opportunity to receive a written certificate. In many cases, your supervisor can also be available as a reference if you are looking for a job or internship!
