The Tidö government's reform agenda for aid policy seeks increased interaction between Swedish trade interests and aid goals. Through the Team Sweden concept, various Swedish actors will collaborate to achieve this aim. This applies not least to trade aid, with the ambition to increasingly involve the Swedish business community in Swedish trade with developing countries.
What are the experiences so far with implementation? How has trade aid as a whole developed as part of the reform agenda? What could be the consequences of the recently decided phase-out of support to several of the poorer partner countries?
Rolf Carlman (FUF) discusses this, among other things, with Sida's method and subject representative for trade Andrea Lilja and method and subject representative for the Private Sector and Team Sweden Klas Svensson.
The seminar will be livestreamed on FUF's YouTube channel @fufplay. It will also be available there afterwards. No registration is required.
