Migration and development - experiences from West Africa

The fact that migration has its own sub-goals in Agenda 2030 is a clear illustration of the link that exists between migration and development. But it is a relationship that is complex and despite the fact that migration carries with it a number of development opportunities, it is often a process for the migrant that involves high social and economic costs. Now you will be able to listen to Jesper Bjarnesen, a researcher at the Nordic Africa Institute, who will share examples from his research in West Africa. He visited FUF on May 29, 2017.
