Through the Young Professionals network, FUF wants to create a forum where young people who work professionally with global development issues / international cooperation can get involved. The professional network aims to provide a platform for young academics who work professionally with global development issues / international cooperation where they:
- exchanges knowledge and experience,
- skills development,
- deepens its contacts with other actors in the development sector,
- is part of FUF's network.
People who are members of the network are part of a resource pool for FUF and may be asked to participate in activities that we organize, for example at events at our local groups, inspirational meetings within The Internship Program or at larger seminar arrangements.
What does the Young Professionals network do?
The network meets in easy forms in digital meetings until further notice. FUF provides a platform for the network, but the members are involved in setting the framework for its content and structure. The members of the network are also part of a resource pool for FUF and will be asked to participate in activities where their experiences are relevant.
How do I join the Young Professionals network?
If you work professionally with global development issues / international cooperation and identify yourself as a “young professional” and are member of FUF you can join the network! Send an expression of interest containing a short presentation letter (max ½ A4) and your CV. If your profile suits the network's target group and if we have vacancies within the network, you are welcome to join.
