Global Climate Action - Perspectives from Nigeria

Like many other countries, Nigeria is affected by climate change. Rising sea levels, flooding, drought and desertification are only some of the consequences the country is facing. Nigeria is also an oil producing country, which has led to serious environmental problems, especially in the region called Niger Delta. The global climate movement is on the rise all over the world, but the opportunities and needs differ globally. How can you be a part of climate action and how can we support each other when it comes to global environmental issues? How do you contribute to the positive change that is needed to tackle the climate crisis?

'Seyifunmi Adebote is one of Nigeria's prominent environmental actors, leading youth engagements across Nigeria and contributing significantly to youth inclusiveness in the United Nations, World Bank and other diplomatic institutions - particularly in the area of Climate Change.

Swedish Development Forum (FUF) invites you to join this online seminar where the questions above will be discussed and 'Seyifunmi Adebote will share his experience and perspectives on climate action.

The seminar will take place on Zoom and requires registration.
