Due to Covid-19, FUF has decided to postpone the annual meeting until March 31, at 18: 00-19: 00 and have the meeting completely digital, where no one meets physically.
How will the meeting go?
We will use the program Zoom (guide sent out to registered participants), which is a video service, where everyone or some share their video in real time and can communicate with each other, with a chairman who controls and shares his video throughout the meeting.
What is required of me as a member?
You need to have access to a computer or laptop with internet, preferably with access to a webcam and microphone, but this is not a requirement, as you can listen and vote without it. Zoom also works in a smartphone, but recommends using a larger screen.
It will also require some patience and indulgence, as everyone has different conditions / digital knowledge and this is a new method that the office and the board have not tried before.
Do I need to register?
Yes, to access Zoom you need to sign up no later than Sunday 29 March to fuf@fuf.se. On March 30, everyone can sign up for detailed instructions and guides on how Zoom and the meeting will work. Everyone is recommended to log in to Zoom at least half an hour before the start to check that everything works, get acquainted with the program and have the chance to contact the office for technical support if something does not work.
I'm not used to technology, will I be able to do this?
Yes, Zoom is a simple program, but if you find it difficult or have problems, you can contact the office for technical support, you do this by writing to matilda.andren@fuf.se or call 0704-71 90 72.
About the annual meeting
FUF is a member organization and the annual meeting is its highest decision-making body. All FUF members have the right to vote on the organization's development and future during the annual meeting. Exercises must be received by FUF no later than 10 March. Exercises are sent by email to fuf@fuf.se or by post to: Föreningen för Utvecklingsfrågor, Ehrensvärdsgatan 4, 112 35 Stockholm.
