Energithe question is being debated like never before. Russia's invasion of Ukraine has left its mark on security policy and shed light on global fossil dependence. The 31st October, FUF therefore invites you to one interesting conversation om energy and climate issues from a justice perspective.

Guest Marie Stjernquist Desatnikexpert on The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation, will during the seminar deal with issues that highlight the role of energy, especially fossil fuels, in security policy and how war in turn can have an impact on global energy as well as what is required for a fair energy transition.

The seminar takes place one week before the UN climate conference, COP27, where Marie will attend. We will therefore also receive a presentation of the Nature Conservation Association's expectations and hopes before the meeting. After the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion.

Marie Stjernquist Desatnik is expert in climate and energy at the Nature Conservation Society's international department. Marie has, for example, previously worked as a climate consultant Inom privatelysector and before that at a UN organization with energy supply in refugee camps.

We offer drinks and snacks.

Welcome to us!

The seminar is organized by FUF's event group, which consists of young non-profit committed members.

The seminar takes place at FUF's office. To get here, take the subway to Fridhemsplan or Rådhuset. From there it is about a 10-minute walk. You can also take bus 3 from Slussen and get off at the stop Polhemsgatan. The room is half a flight of stairs down without lift  and unfortunately there is no ear loop in the room
