About the organization
Are you at the end of your academic studies and are interested in development issues and evaluation of Swedish aid? Do you want to help influence Sweden's aid policy? Then you should apply for an internship with us!
The expert group for aid analysis, EBA, is a government committee that was appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2013. EBA is tasked with evaluating and analyzing Sweden's international aid in order to contribute to developing and streamlining the aid, as well as to build a long-term knowledge base of high quality.
What does the internship mean?
Our intern will follow the daily operations of the office and will be able to familiarize themselves with issues of varying nature and difficulty. You may, among other things, have the opportunity to produce analyses, assist in project management, write and edit texts and organize seminars. You will also participate in reference group meetings with external experts, in expert group meetings and in meetings with other authorities and organizations.
Here you are also given a unique opportunity for insight into how a state committee is governed and works, and also in some of the Government Offices' processes.
Desirable competence / experience
You are a student at a university, college or other comparable institution of higher education and are in the final stages of your education, which includes an internship.
We believe that you, who are interested in social and development issues and curious about how a politically appointed organization works, will enjoy and have a stimulating internship with us. You should work well in a small work group, be both an independent and collaborative person, as well as responsible, curious and proactive.
To be able to benefit from the internship in a good way, you should be able to communicate in both Swedish and English and have good IT skills.
Meritorious competence / experience
International experience is a plus.
