During 2024, FUF implements the EU elections project, which starts in the parliamentary elections this summer.
📨 Only every sixth voter knows that there are EU elections in June - despite the fact that the EU works on important issues such as democracy, climate, peace and security and is the world's largest donor of aid. Many people, not least young people, also see the EU as boring and complicated and therefore ignore voting.
???? Therefore, during the year you will, among other things, be able to follow the EU elections in Social Media, watch video interviews with politicians and experts and take clever quizzes! We will also invite you to seminars on various global issues and how the EU works with them.
🌏 With the EU elections, we hope to arouse interest in, and increase knowledge of, the EU's work with global issues - which citizens also have the power to influence by voting on 9 June.
