The EU in the Swedish election campaign

In the run-up to the Swedish parliamentary elections, EU issues often receive little attention, despite the fact that many of the issues decided at EU level affect our everyday lives. This applies to everything from laws to the distribution of money to municipalities and regions.

Which issues that affect Swedish policy are decided at the EU level? How do we cooperate within the EU on foreign policy issues? And which EU funds go to Sweden?

We will address these questions in an Instagram Live conversation on April 13th at 2:00-3:00 PM. The conversation will be held between Johan Wullt, Head of Communications at the European Commission Representation in Sweden, and Torbjörn Pettersson, former ambassador, head of department at Sida and party secretary for the Swedish People's Party.

The conversation is arranged by the Association for Development Issues (FUF) and the Swedish European Movement. It will be livestreamed on FUF's Instagram channel @fuf.se and can be viewed afterwards on FUF's Instagram and YouTube channel @Fufplay. Welcome!
