What do we do?
In the past, FUF's local group in Uppsala has organized lectures and film screenings about, for example, the protests in Iran, climate change in Latin America, the illegal deforestation of the Amazon, the vulnerability of activists, the development of democracy in the shadow of the pandemic and about the criminalization of women's bodies through the abolition of the right to abortion.
Why should you join?
In addition to giving you a platform for non-profit engagement, there is the opportunity to discuss interesting, and often difficult, topics and questions, expand your network, increase your ability to work in groups and within an association. In addition, FUF offers various skills training and the opportunity to apply for an internship via the Intern Program.

FUF Uppsala consists of young people and students in Uppsala who, through our membership in FUF, want to increase our own and others' knowledge of global challenges and injustices.
How can you get involved?
Welcome to the information meeting with FUF's local group in Uppsala Tuesday, January 24 at 17:00-18:00 to hear more about what we do in the local group and meet old and new members. The meeting will take place on the campus' old square (Östra Ågatan 19) in Uppsala. Exact room for the meeting will be announced later via social media. FUF Uppsala offers coffee. Please note that registration is required no later than January 23 via this link.
