Welcome to a seminar focusing on tips and advice that Anna Svantesson has found useful during her studies, internships and temporary positions before she got a permanent position at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. As well as an insight into the Diplomat program, which Anna is studying alongside her work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

About Anna:
Anna has studied human rights at Lund University and was involved in FUF, among other things. Through FUF, Anna applied for an internship at Sida, where she both practiced and worked at Sida's department for Europe and Latin America. Anna also did an internship at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) and worked for a period at the Royal Marshal's Office before she started working at the MFA. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna has worked with visiting issues at the Protocol, worked with resolution negotiations at Sweden's Permanent Representation to the UN in New York and is now working with issues relating to human rights at the Foreign Ministry's unit for international law, human rights and treaty law. In parallel with the work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Anna Diplomat program runs during 2020-2021.
The seminar will put a lot of focus on questions with a longer question time, so prepare questions before the event if you are thinking about something!
