Contribute to the survival of Development magazine!

Now we are halfway there in the implementation of Agenda 2030 for sustainable development. At the same time, we see that developments in the world are going in the wrong direction in many ways - climate change, a reduced democratic space and waves of misinformation and fake news are just a few examples of that. Now it is more important than ever that the public gets access to independent, fact-based and understandable information about what is happening in the world. We believe that Uttvecklingsmagasinet, FUF's online magazine on sustainability issues and Agenda 2030, has an important role to play there.

- It is time that we together accelerate the work for the global goals in a time of parallel crises. For this to be possible, monitoring, follow-up, independent development journalism and a solid development debate are required. Uttvecklingsmagasinet offers all this, says Josephine Sundqvist, Secretary General of the Medical Mission and ambassador for Uttvecklingsmagasinet.

But due to the government's drastic changes in aid policy, the future is uncertain for Uttvecklingsmagasinet. At the moment we only have funding to run the magazine and supervise our young non-profit writers - who write the majority of the texts for Uttvecklingsmagasinet – until the turn of the year. After that, we may have to scale back or at worst shut it down.

That's why we need your support! Do you want to do like Josephine Sundqvist and contribute to Uttvecklingsmagasinet's survival and continued coverage of global issues and Agenda 2030? Then you can swipe an additional amount of your choice 123 481 86 13.

The world is facing enormous challenges to deal with that require facts, knowledge and a diversity of perspectives in the debate - and this is exactly what we want to continue to offer at Utvecklingsmagasinet.

Many thanks!
