November 17-18 is the time for the Human Rights Days in Örebro and of course FUF is there!
During this year's MR days, FUF will organize a seminar on Ultra fast fashion and its consequences, hold a quiz about the global goals and participate in a career fair for students together with Globalportalen and the Voluntärbyrån. Seminar: "Ultra fast fashion - are you contributing to slavery and environmental destruction?"

Ultra fast fashion, the clothing industry that produces clothes faster and cheaper than ever and the Swedes love it! But what are the consequences of clicking home a dress for SEK 50 from the other side of the world? Who actually has to pay the cost? Are they the environment or factory workers? Is there a back side we Swedes don't want to see or talk about?
In an interview with Malin Kjellqvist, business and human rights expert at Fair Action and Magnus Boström, professor of sociology at Örebro University, FUF will deal with a difficult but important topic from our time - Ultra fast fashion. Many of us have seen advertisements and maybe even shopped from the biggest and fastest growing clothing company, Shein or Wish, but what's the flip side with companies that can sell clothes and products way below the prices we're used to? What can we do better and how can we instead contribute to a sustainable clothing industry?
